Olde Rope Mill Park is located just north of the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta in Woodstock. The Park features multiple mountain bike and multi-use trails, fishing and canoeing, park benches, picnic areas, decks and swings overlooking Little River, and a rock pavilion.
There are historical markers highlighting the history of the area. The Rope Mill produced cotton ropes in the 1800s. It and the gristmills were powered by water flowing through Little River, Noonday Creek, and Etowah River.
Use of Olde Rope Mill Park by organized groups for team practices, business functions, special events etc. is prohibited without an issued permit from the Woodstock Parks and Recreation Department. Otherwise, the space is available for the public to have a nice passive space for recreation and leisure activities and relaxation. Please visit the city’s RESERVATIONS page for more information.
