Noble-Hill Wheeler Memorial Center

PLOT SUMMARY: The Noble Hill School was the first Rosenwald Community School Plan building constructed in Bartow County. Noble Hill provided an elementary school education to black residents during segregation. The wooden school building located in Cassville was constructed largely with funding from local African American families and the Rosenwald Fund.

Today, the Noble Hill-Wheeler Memorial Center operates as a cultural heritage museum.
