Pickett’s Mill

Visitors to Pickett’s Mill Battlefield Historic Site can explore earthworks used in the American Civil War, enjoy a nature hike through four miles of trails and view relics of the past in the museum. An authentic 1800s pioneer cabin is furnished and open for tours during certain events. Civil War reenactments are performed on this preserved battlefield in Paulding County. One of two original cannons used during this battle is on display in the museum, on loan from Atlanta History Center. While the site is open seven days a week, the museum is only open Thursday- Saturday. There is also a playground and picnic area.
