Mistletoe

Located on the more than 70,000 acre Clarks Hill Lake near Augusta, Mistletoe State Park is known as a great bass fishing spot. Three boat ramps offer easy access to the lake and canoes are available to rent. Guests can cool down at the sandy beach during the summer. There are more than 15 miles of shaded nature trails for hikers and walkers. Cyclists exploring the park can join the Muddy Spokes Club. The park hosts a number of programs throughout the year including astronomy classes, concerts and nature walks.

The park has several options when it comes to staying overnight. There are 10 fully-equipped cottages on the lake. The campground sits on a peninsula, offering great views of the sunrise and sunset over the water. There is also a 4-bed tent cabin with electricity and lake views.
