Inside the welcome center, there are brochures, maps, public restrooms and vending machines. Cyclists will find a bike station outside. The depot building also houses history on local legend Sterling Holloway, the voice of Winnie the Pooh, who grew up in the area. According to Explore Georgia, “the current building is a replica of Cedartown’s long-demolished Seaboard Air Line Railway depot. The new structure was constructed in 2004 and stands at the same location on S. Main Street as did the original structure.”
